but its not a lie, cheeno, its a way to present a argument with a disclaimer that I'm leaving out information about said argument. on the flip side your statement is blatantly false to anybody with either a) a brain or b) a labido. Mike Mayock just a couple days ago was stating its his opinion that Jenkins is the best man cover corner in the draft and if he didn't have the character concerns he felt Jenkins would be hands down the #1 corner in the draft. now I don't particularly like appeal to authority arguments so I chose to leave it out, simple as that.

sorry that me presenting something in the appropriate manner seems to have offended you so much that you claim its "spouting nonsense" when its the farthest thing from it. maybe next time I should just say Jenkins is the best cover corner in the draft but then I have to come up with a list of seventy two hundred reasons to convince you and frankly I don't have the time or motivation to try and convince you or anybody else when its apparent you guys have no interest in hearing it so instead I chose the simple way of stating "arguably" to make it know I was leaving it up to opinion, particularly mine.

The consensus top cover corner is that tard Claiborne. You might want to read more than Mayock who also said Jimmy Clausen was the best qb prospect since Montana and BMW was the steal of the draft. Jenkins is more likely to be the next Pacman than the next Primetime.

I want this dude, Stephon Gilmore. I might buy his jersey whether he's a Lion or not.

Lol, yeah well. I have a Delmas and LeShoure so I'm playing .500.

Edit: Well, I did have a Komlo back in the day..

i wouldnt mind seeing Gilmore in our secondary. The problem is MM and schwartz have shown no interest in upgrading our secondary so its not a position im going to get my hopes up about.

Mercilus DE
Barron S
Martin OT
Glenn G/T
Kirkpatrick CB
Gilmore CB
are my hopefulls.

Throw in a darkhorse itd be Hill WR allowing us to cut Burleson next year.

Janoris Jenkins - DB - Player

A team source tells the Detroit Free Press the "chances are slim" the Lions select North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins with the No. 23 pick.

It's noteworthy because Detroit is perhaps Jenkins' most plausible landing spot in the bottom third of the first round. A first-round talent, it's looking increasingly less likely Jenkins will overcome his myriad character concerns and turn himself into a day-one pick. He's not expected to fall beyond round two, however. Both NFL Network's Charley Casserly and NFL Films' Greg Cosell believe Jenkins is the draft's best pure cover corner.

Not a huge surprise, it only stands to reason that it's too much of a PR hit to be worth it.
