Kris Durham brought in to replace Broyles

I just hope anyone of these guys signed can catch a ball if they're ever open. It just doesn't make sense that nobody else has had a field day catching passes outside of CJ, except for Broyles, whose out for the year...........

No kidding, it would be nice to see the Lions sign a wr that was overlooked by other teams come in here and actually produce. A diamond in the rough type player. Not holding my breath though.

As long as he doesnt have knee issues......

As long as he doesnt have knee issues......

Missed his entire junior year with a shoulder injury. Placed on IR last year after 3 games. 64 catches in 4 years at Georgia. sounds about par for the course lol....

College careerKris finished the 2006 season with 8 catches for 82 yards as a freshman with Georgia. Durham improved in his sophomore season finishing with 11 catches for 169 yards.[4] Durham played in the 2008 Sugar Bowl against the University of Hawaii, catching 3 passes for 48 yards. Durham appeared in 10 games during his junior season in 2008. He caught 13 passes for a total of 199 yards and caught his first touchdown pass of his college career. While participating in spring practice in 2009, Durham tore the labrum in his left shoulder and it was later announced that he would miss the entire 2009 season.[5]

As a senior, Durham set career-highs with 32 catches for 659 yards and 3 touchdowns, including 100-yard games against Arkansas and Vanderbilt. Over the four years he played for the Bulldogs, he caught 64 passes for 1,109 yards, and 4 touchdowns, in 47 games (15 as a starter).[6]

[edit] Professional careerDurham was selected as the 107th overall pick (the 10th pick in the 4th round) in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Durham's deal is worth four years and $2.504 million, and includes a $464,260 signing bonus.[7]

In the 2011 season, Durham only played in three regular season games[8] before being placed on the injured reserve list.[9]

Durham was cut at the end of the Seahawks' training camp in 2012.[10] He signed with the Detroit Lions practice squad on September 2, 2012,[11] and was elevated to the active roster on December 4,[12] joining his former college roommate,[13] quarterback Matthew Stafford.

good thing this guy is so terrible. i'd hate for them to bring in a guy who actually helped them win a game this year and screw up their draft position. gotta hold out hope for a top 5 pick!!!

Who are the better options, in your EXPERT opinion??

chill dude...i really don't give a fuck at this point so i'm just goofin' out of frustration. only thing to do these days is maintain a sense of humor, no? they can bring in a guy named bob who has no arms and legs and i'd be just as excited as if they brought in larry fitzgerald. well, correction...fitz would actually give me hope for next year whereas right now i don't see much available in FA and i'd honestly prefer they focus on D in early draft...so that makes bob next in line apparently. lol

Well the good news is he should be used to staffords fastball, something Thomas is having troubles with.

wait...so they don't even think the guy will play? not to mention he is injury prone so even if he does play, there is apparently a good probability he won't finish the game. wonderful.

ok schwartz, i'm going to stop by on tuesday. put me in coach, i'm ready!!! i'm only 6'0 and 195, and Four Two isn't my 40 time, it's my age, i have hands of stone and will need to be carted off after the first hit i take...whether from a pass thrown my way and i get rocked or i try and throw a block...i'm basically the NFL equivalent to All-State's Mayhem guy...but who the fuck else is out there willing to strap on a Lions jersey this year?

The guy has had one injury since being drafted and you already have him not being able to finish a game???

Wow.
