Kris Durham brought in to replace Broyles

The guy has had one injury since being drafted and you already have him not being able to finish a game???

Wow.

(one injury since drafted + injuries in college) x (being a lions WR + lions luck) = high probability of being injured before year's end

since there are only 4 games left in the year, i figure that to be a 25% chance he is injured tonight

but that is just a loose, unscientific hypothesis i created

ooooooooohhh, ahhhhhhhh

He did better than I thought he would. 3rd best in receiving yards means he wasn't the worst guy catching balls for lions, and he didn't get injured which is a double bonus

yeah I thought he did well, especially being his first game, in GB, in below freezing weather. he was targeted 9 times and had 4 catches for like 55 yds. I would have liked to see them throw balls he would need to go up and get, not try to pick off the ground

If I was Staff I'd target CJ 40 times a game. And rush it 20. Maybe let him punt.

One great catch and one bad route that led to a pick. All in all I thought he played well considering it was his first game. A little more confidence and he could be alright. Staff misfired on one that was knocked away leaving it a little short otherwise he may have had another big play.

Good call. Did anyone really expect much out of the Lions passing game this week? 3/4 of the Lions starting receivers are on the IR. Good showing imo for what Stafford had to work with. And lets not forget that Lambeau field was a mess last night. With all the key injuries the Lions have dealt with this year how could anyone have expected more than what we are seeing? Just because the announcers and media dont key in on how depleted this team is due to injuries, doesnt mean it is not.

Pettigrew only played the first series as well. But in the end the run defense and defending Randall Cobb was pathetic.

Stupid turnovers too gave control right back to the Packers.

Atleast 2 bad routes that i remember. I know it was his first week but that many targets should have had more production.

Durham had 54 yards. That' more than Burleson or Young did per game. They aren't really saying whose fault the pick was if Durham ran the wrong route or Stafford read it wrong. Durham did have one drop I remember.

We'll see what the kid can do in the last 3. Pettigrew hurt now too. Scheffler and Stafford are not on the same page very often with Scheffler in the slot. Scheffler did have the nice one catch against Indy and the TD though. I hope Broyles can be healthy by Week 1

id rather they put scheffler on the outside and thomas in the slot. Its hard to tell cause it was freezing frikken cold out and the field was slush....but his routes didnt look good. Ill have a better idea after watching him in the dome. At first glance though....he didnt look as fast as advertised. Again....the conditions werent really there to showcase his speed so dont jump all over me.....i just wasnt very impressed with him as a "starter".

Collinsworth was blaming Durham on the pick. I know he isn't in the huddle but he played WR in the league for years and was adamant that Durham made the mistake.

You see on the sidelines too that Staff was talking to Durham telling his he needed to go inside with his hand gestures. Who knows!!!??

you either run a skinny post or a fade from where he was at on the field.....he didnt really run either. kind of a lazy post and he let the DB get infront of him...definitely a no no.

Pats never take foot off the gas. Us we go ultra conservative.

I think we were just stopped by the Packers, not conservative plays. Pack stopped the run and covered better period. Lions were up 14-3 in Packer territory and were passing on 1st down when Stafford fumbled. That is not conservative at all.

I believe we started passing more in the second half too. Again not conservative because we were down 17-14 after the Packers got the ball and went right down the field and scored a TD to start the second half.

pats offense is so successful because of their ability to run the ball...same with saints in past few years...then those two deep safety looks that we get and the packers get do not work...even at times rodgers has struggled against our very own two deep safety looks..usually big plays against it have been extended plays where the pass rush is MIA...we have to build this line..then it will make our passing offense that much better..
