While it is an opinion......my opinion is certainly the majority opinion.....while yours is in the minority.

Pro football Focus has Slay as a pro bowler this year.

And regardless of what PFF says.....have you not watched Slay this year? Jesus, he's borderline elite right now.

Payton taking over would mean a COMPLETE offensive overhaul and probably at least one year of awfulness. Maybe 2.

Might be worth it though.....as it would rid us of Stafford's and CJ's contracts (though by then Slay and Ansah would have big contracts of their own).

Exactly! Our offense (as is) isn't even "kinda" consistent enough to be a contender and no way Slay gets a cap unfriendly contract at the level of Stafford or CJ. Ansah...maybe someday.

I thought Matt was elite in 2011. I guess your Suh's re-negotiations opinion matters little then since it's in the minority.
