As for CB's going high. You rarely see it, they're always going low because they are the smaller guy on the field usually, right? Go high and you get trucked.

And these guys work on stripping the ball all the time. Its part of their drills.

I agree. Unless a player is already engaged you should be able to tackle the leg area.
