Leshoure "on schedule"

We still have to see if Jr is <, >, or = to Sr.

For starters, he only has half of his father's genetic makeup. Secondly, history indicates the Jr never quite meets expectations, quite probably due to the extent of those expectations. Look at Jared Payton as a prime example.

Outside of football, the same is generally found in even horse racing. How many elite competitors did Secretariat sire? 0 out of 200 (?) plus? And that is the crux of the issue, even if the Jr is elite chances are they won't quite meet the expectations of many.

Now one might point to the Manning family as an example to counter my point; however, I argue that while Archie was decent, he was not elite...certainly not in the context being discussed here. It is possible for a decent athlete to sire an elite one, but it is extreme rarity that elite spawn elite. Despite all the hype around Tim Hardaway, Jr., the odds are against his reaching his father's status and I'm not sure I'd categorize Sr as elite in the first place. A better example in basketball would be Michael Jordan's son...how has he faired? Not well.

Still, time will tell how Barry Jr. will do.

He's got the genes but it's way way early to say he's as good as his Dad. He's Barry Freakin' Sanders.

Demaryius Thomas tore his Achilles last February. I'm surprised he's recovered so quickly.
