Levy out since game 1, returns to practice, and playing

Welcome to the good side Tony. It's good to have you.

Good side of what? Shitting on players? Not really, man. It actually makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. One part of me wants to root for the man, but the other part of me wants to boot him in the fucking nuts. I don't like the feeling one bit lol.

Detroit Lions LB DeAndre Levy expected to miss 11th straight game.

Lions' Caldwell has no regrets with handling of Levy.
Detnews

Allen Park -- It's been nearly 12 weeks since DeAndre Levy played in a game and it begs the question -- why didn't the Detroit Lions place the linebacker on injured reserve following his early-season injury?

Lions coach Jim Caldwell does his best to refrain from commenting on injuries, but said the team has been operating on the information it has had available.
"We look at our situation, where we are, going into the week, and make the best decisions based upon what we have available to us, which we've done thus far and will continue to do," Caldwell said.

I wonder if this shit soap opera drama will cause the decision makers on his availability to lose their jobs, and depending on how they finish the season even Caldwell's job.

And does Caldwell expect Levy to be healthy at some point this year?
"We'll see," Caldwell said.

Conspiracy theory: He's fine. Just doesn't want to play anymore.

What type of quad injury other than some form of a broken leg keeps someone out for as long as it has?? Quads are strains and pulls. If it's really that serious, you come out week 1, say the dude busted something and put him on long term IR.

Was thinking along the same lines on a quad and 10 - 11 weeks.
Maybe a tear in the quad? idk.

How I imagine this unfolding (circa week 7):

Caldwell: "Hey DeAndre, how are you feeling this week? Ready for some practice and maybe a game on Sunday depending on how it goes?"

Levy: "Maybe. If you ask nicely."

Caldwell: "...What? You want me to say please?"

Levy: "Yes. I put my mental health on the line every week, I deserve that much." *holds up latest article from Detroit Free Press*

Caldwell: *blank, somewhat incredulous stare* "Fuck off, kid."

Aaaaaand that brings us to today. Levy is just waiting for Caldwell to say please.

I think he should skip saying please, and go right to the fuck off part. Shit, I'd put him on garbage detail, like they did Titus.

Tahir Whitehead out tomorrow, Killebrew should be playing quite a few snaps tomorrow imo, if Bynes is moving inside

He's been fantastic on 3rd downs. Wouldn't object to see what he looks like in a larger role.

Sick and tired of the Levy soap opera. Wasting roster space at this point.

As far as I'm concerned, he can start using "we" until he gets back on the field.
