Linehan on Broyles

Rather see Linehan say "no comment" when asked about the status of Broyles, instead of the normal "we dont want to ease him into his role, but we dont wanna rush him back either". Also dont understand why Fauria is a redzone option only, the guy is s monster, why limit him to redzone situations? Throw him in there on 3rd and long plays, and see what he can do, imo hes a better option than Pettigrew already, no matter the field position. Need to unleash this guy.

I have a problem with the first sentence:

"The Lions missed the playmaking ability of receiver Ryan Broyles in the middle of the field last week in Arizona"

Broyles has played so little I have no idea if he's being missed..

translation:

"Broyles has been tearing apart the lions' back seven in the middle of the field at practice"

I can't even imagine what CJ is capable of at practice against that horrific back 7.

He makes a game of it. First he starts at 40% and if that's too much for them to handle he goes at 30% speed and so on ..

Translation....I already have burleson to run my 2 yard routes....I don't need another guy that runs 2 yd routes.

I heard that they tie one hand behind his back, put a blindfold on and make him wear 20 lb ankle weights to slow him down. He still dominates at practice!

Who is Broyles.. Oh another injured player who was injured in college.. Might as well draft him...

injured slot WR that was behind CJ nate and titus at the time and now is behind CJ nate and patrick Edwards. Sounds like a 2nd rd pick to me.

The only reason he didnt start last week is because the Lions didnt NEED him yet. Might as well give him as much time as he needs to get close to 100%. When hes out there producing, dont shy away from admitting how stupid you are Hughes

They didn't need him? They lost the game....when are they going to NEED him?

No kidding. If the dude is suppose to be good, though I have my doubt's, last week was about as "need him" as you can get.

He wasnt active, and the dipshits didnt dare think that one of their receivers would leave with an injury. Just saying that with Edwards proving that he could handle starting job and make plays, there was no need to bring broyles in there before hes 100 percent healthy. The Lions not dressing Broyles last week proved to be a huge mistake, even if his snaps were limited he wouldve done more than Durham did in replacing Edwards.

At the time the decision was made they didn't need him. 2 injuries happened.

And broyles had good ypc last year. Shut it on the 2 yard routes. Burleson got jammed not the play call

I am not going to lie Linehan sucked the second half. That play call was terrible. The first down call sucked on that series as well. They stopped running any semblance of a positive offense and its because players were not put in good situations. Should have treated that play with a big set and run a pa roll out or te slip screen. Something to get the defense moving one way and open up a few yards for the first down. We had a chance to win but coaching once again failed and players didnt step up. I think this team is much better than they showed but it shouldnt have even been close.

They ran a misdirection play to pettigrew on the play that got the first down. The checks to bell was not the primary receiver. It is not the play calling. Scheffler or fauria change nothing

broyles plays the slot....the injury happend to an outside WR.....they still didnt need him. 9 times out of 10 linehan has the slot run a 2 yd route. They already have burleson running 2 yard routes. broyles is useless hence hes inactive.
