As you may remember, I selected Brian Burns with the eighth overall pick for the Detroit Lions. You can read my rationale, and we devoted an entire podcast to it, which you can listen to here.

Quinn said he would rather trade back and get more draft picks. Lots of top players from pick 20 to 50.

If we could get Brian Burns at 15, and have 2 2nd rounders, I'd be more than happy with that. But if somebody like Ed Oliver or a top edge rusher falls to us at 8, stay put. Moving up just costs too much, imo, we need the picks. We don't have the luxury to go all in, and can't afford to miss on this pick and cough up a bunch of picks doing so
