The way I see it is....the more teams you have in the NFL the more diluted the already shitty product there is out there. And people pay for that already. Theres like 5 good qbs in the league. Theres only like 4-5 super bowl potential teams each year. You add 6 more teams.....EVERY team in the league gets worse than they are already.

That's exactly it. So many problems with the NFL in Europe but then guys like Dan O. and Tebow have starting QB jobs.
 
NFL doesn't care that there would be a dip in talent level. Over time the talent in the new cities/countries would overcome that and in the interim they still increase their revenue stream by a very large amount.

NFL realizes they gave a superior product compared to rugby and soccer, yet soccer specifically continues to grow while NFL is limited primarily to US market. They have wanted to expand for decades and now have put in place a plan that has slowly improved brand awareness, access, and acceptance.
