Lions tied for worst record in NFC

na, i think with their luck combined with player's skills and coaches decisions, they are destined for top 5 now. ;P

and they have the hardest schedule...so we will pick last of all the teams we are tied with, in the 1st round

They'll win their last 3 and CJ will crush Rice's record.......just to ruin their chances of drafting in the top 10......and for everyone to pick up their Honolulu Blue kook-aid for 2013!!!

I hope they do win the last 3. Excited about a high pick, after the season, is okay. But hoping they lose is the worse fan of all.

^^^ knocking the bears out of the playoffs....would be worth dropping down in the draft^^^^

That would be awesome, especially after their hot start. And sack Cutler about 10 times.

Agreed, we see the Packers make the playoffs year in and year out, still would rather see the Packers make it than the Bears. Too bad the Lions didnt steal atleast 1 game from the Vikings, because I actually hate them just as much if not more than the Bears.

I hate every team in the division. Every one of them. This shitjob this year has pretty much blanked me out. Nothing looks like it's gonna be a fix for the foreseeable future. Nothing about the way they have played leads me to think they have a shot in these last three games; especially seeing how Arizona got the "brakes beat off that ass" yesterday and will be fired up this week. I wish we had a group of MEN that wanted to handle business, not celebrate a touchdown when you just dropped 4 out of 4 winnable games. Celebrate a fucking win.

You're kidding, right? They've been in almost all games. ST blunders, ill advised red flags etc can all be fixed. You might be exaggerating a tad.

But it's been the same story before last year remember? It's just looking like repeats at this point. I hope it's not though. I said to myself "I wonder if they are gonna make it another close game only to lose at the end". It's almost like they wire themselves to lose by just enough so that it ends up looking close. I'm ready to see a win like the jacksonville game on a more consistent basis. Not the blowout factor, but the fact that they kept their heads on straight and didn't have the game going down to the last second. They have the talent to win these games; they could easily have been challenging GB for the division lead.

I don't think its the same. For one, they have competed, even this year. Years past when they would do poorly, they'd lose big or start in the same 21-0 hole. Just a little bad luck and poor play in key spots.

As you put it, they have the talent to compete with GB so this story is not the same as past years when they were getting blown out.

I think it maybe even more frustrating. Having the talent but still losing heartbreakers and close games. It's more entertaining to watch now that they have the chance to beat anybody but they are still losing alot of games including basically everyone over .500 other than Seattle. Need some tweaks for sure. DE and safety first and foremost.

Definitely need a DE and secondary help. I'd take a DE, CB and S in first three rounds.

So many good DEs snag one in the first. I would say trade one of our non existent later runs picks on Barrett Jones in the second.

Too bad we couldn't trade Avril this season. Now we'll get nothing..

Meh he played solid a good amount but not very consistent. 9.5 sacks still too. I think the back injury he got Week 4 hurt him some. If he walks we need two DEs. KVB sucks and is a cap casualty, Lo Jack is a free agent and backup at best and Willie Young is restricted and a severe disappointment this season.

Nobody was trading for him with a franchise tag. I hope we can get him on a smaller deal but he probably walks. Only way he comes back is if no one is dumb enough to give him what he thinks he's worth. Then he'll come crawling back and Mayhew will give him a decent deal but much less than he wanted or was offered last year.

We pretty much knew KVB would suck his final years. He was a good asset just for his motor so a good sign at the time. 9.5 sacks still looks good on a resume, not sure how much others would sign him for but I bet he asks for a ton.

the draft is loaded at DE.......I cant see KVB back and hope Avril will take something considerable less than $10Mill...would hate to fill two starting DE positions
