Lions to play in London again

actually im dead on yet again.....I said wed be 10-6 and its not cause were any better than before but wed get lucky fluky wins this year that we didn't get in the past. looks like im right....

What type of meds are you on? I'm actually worried now.

you and I have 2 different views on what "successful" is. 6-2 at mid year vs one of the easiest schedules in the NFL....yup....seen that before....not getting my hopes up. Fool me once....

Never said they were winning the Super Bowl or anything. Just pointing out that being 6-2 midway is success for the time being. Now they gotta finish. Next 3 games are huge ....would love to see them take 2 of 3.

Just not being 0-8 at the midway point is a monumental achievement for the Detroit Lions.

Crap, I was looking forward to going to arrowhead, one of 4 stadiums I need to complete the NFL city tour

Forgot to mention.....how was their schedule "easy"? Because they played Minnesota? Try again...

Saints, Packers are huge wins.

Giants,at Jets,at Vikings, Falcons suck but so do the Bears twice, Vikings (home) and Bucs (home).

Buffalo a strong defense 5-3 and much better since Orton came. Carolina played better earlier in season obviously and their defense is jekyl and hyde. We got Mr Hyde.

I remain not a big fan of these London games. The field is a friggen joke and do the players really like that long trip in the middle of the season, takes too damn long to get over the pond, unleash the alien tech already and at least make the trip shorter!

I know this is two years in a row we'd have played Arizona at their place. So it's not always 1 game at home, 1 away, 1 home etc.

Divisions rotate every 4 years home/away. They add in 2 games to round out the schedule that is why we have played Ari the last 2 years. We played the AFC west in 2011 and beat San Diego at home to clinch a playoff spot, 4 years later(2015) we will be in san diego. I get to see Det live every 8 years.

Okay, thanks. It's nice to see Detroit the first two years I've been here in Arizona, Especially now that they're a good team..Arizona.

I don't like the London games and certainly don't like the talk about them getting a team of their own. The SB is about 10-15 minutes from my house this coming year..It'd be kind of cool to go..right now I saw tickets from $750 to over 2k.

Edit: Cross that, just looked on Ticket Exchange, $2300-$9700, ouch.

That bums me out. Should have bought tickets a couple weeks ago when they were under 1k.

Announced its going to be another early game. Looks like I get to start my football on 1 November at 8:30.

If I ever go to London, it sure as hell won't be to watch the Lions.

Besides, I don't want to watch American sports in foreign countries, for the same reason I wouldn't want to eat American food in a foreign country.
