The intensity at Allen Park is heating up. The Detroit Lions had their fourth consecutive padded practice on Wednesday, and although the temperatures at the Lions? training camp facility were down, the players were still playing at a high level.

So on Wednesday night, myself and Kent Lee Platte talked about everything we saw from practice. From position battles to the defensive backs? dominant day to Matthew Stafford analysis, we cover it all.

Additionally, we go through my 53-man roster prediction from Wednesday and see what, if anything, we?d change after practice. Who will win the WR camp battle? Is Teez Tabor in or out? What about Miles Killebrew after Matt Patricia?s heavy praise in his press conference?

Finally, we end our video by going over Wednesday?s highlights. Watch as we break down big plays from Teez Tabor, Jarrad Davis and Kenny Golladay.

Allen Park has been abuzz all week with the Lions kicking off their preparations for the 2019 season. This week Erik and Joe talk about the signing of Mike Daniels, the health of the defensive line and all other happenings from practice.

Lions sign DT Mike Daniels after he was released from Green Bay.

In a corresponding move, RB Theo Riddick was released.

DT Fredrick Jones was added for defensive line depth due to the rash of injuries.

WR Brandon Reilly was released to make room for Jones.

With Riddick cut, do Zenner or Ty Johnson find themselves on the 53 man?

Kearse?s performance so far in camp.

Will 4 TE?s make the roster?

Does Fales have a shot at making the roster?

Luke Bowanko is making a push to make the final cut on the offensive line.

DT Kevin Strong has taken advantage of extra playing time with the injuries.

LB Jahlani Tavai has the inside track of starting at WILL.

Teez Tabor has been impressive so far in camp, but still struggles with the deep ball.

Diggs and Walker look solid at safety.
