Could the Detroit Lions Ship Titus Young to Buffalo Bills?

Titus Young is a good receiver with big upside but his continued problem with bad decisions during important games could hurt the Detroit Lions too much. Could a trade to the Buffalo Bills become beneficial for both sides?
Young makes dumb decision by head butting Janoris Jenkins
Detroit won their first game against the St. Louis Rams. It wasn't pretty or easy but they made it out alive. That doesn't mean they get off without any headaches. They lost another corner in Bill Bentley to a concussion as well as not having top defensive backs Louis Delmas and Chris Houston. Once against they couldn't run the ball. Matthew Stafford threw it 48 times, including three interceptions that almost cost them the game. It is not the ideal way to start the season and has many people wondering if the Lions can win enough games playing that way. The biggest issue of all though was an incident on the field when receiver Titus Young
head butted Rams corner Janoris Jenkins. This came on the tail end of some constant jawing all game. Head coach Jim Schwartz said Young made a "really dumb decision." He should have walked away. Instead the hot-headed receiver, a man who had problems controlling his temper last season too, got benched for a good part of the second half. Releasing him is not an option. His talent is too good and Detroit believes he's just immature. On the other hand they might not say that if Young earns a personal foul in a playoff game. Would they think about trading him for help elsewhere on the roster?
Bills loss of David Nelson opens the door for finding NFL help
The Buffalo Bills offense looked pretty bad in their opening game against the New York Jets. Ryan Fitzpatrick tossed three interceptions. Worse yet the celebrated new "defense" gave up 48 points and failed to net a sack despite paying millions of dollars to their supposed ?lite defensive line. The real issue outside of the game is the offense though. Two key players went down with injuries in the humiliating loss. Fred Jackson will sit out 3-4 weeks with a knee injury. Even worse reliable receiver David Nelson went
down for the year with a torn ligament in his right knee. If Buffalo struggled to score points before how can they expect to score without two of their best players? This means they must hope their reserves can do the job or they will go hunting in NFL free agency for help. One way they can upgrade is via trade. This is where the Young problem become interesting. At first glance nothing short of a first round draft pick might pry him away from the Lions, regardless if he's a head case. On the other hand Buffalo does have a few players Detroit would find very helpful. Safety Jairus Byrd is a free agent in 2013 and is the kind of athletic safety who could take full advantage of the strong Lions pass rush.
Titus Young is living up to his last name. His bad decisions aren't costing the Detroit Lions ball games yet but they can't take that risk forever if he continues. The Buffalo Bills badly need a receiver after losing David Nelson. If Jairus Byrd or a top draft pick go on the table a trade should at least draw interest.
