lol at American cars 2.0

Nobody cares if you think other cars are better. Just stop being happy about it.

2012 GMC Acadia Denali ---- Rental car 'upgrade' (because that's how this G rolls) ....

SOLID, SOLID A from me and the Mrs.

Haven't owned a 'US Manufactured' car in a while but we've been looking at that Acadia and the more reasonable Terrain... 'Merica!

I own a 2011 explorer and can say it is bad ass. We have not had any problems out of it. The only minor glitch is the sync system, but Ford has taken care of the minor problems right away. The Explorer was in a different league than the Pilot, Highlander, or any GM POS!

Also own an F150, best selling truck in the past 1000000 years. Only thing I can say is I wouldn't own a Fuckus! (Focus)

Funny thing is that the Focus is one of the better rated American cars.

Until you have used the myTouch system, its hard to explain. It has to be updated and basically controls the whole car. Its cutting edge technology, and I have no complaints.

Probably what most people are complaining about is syncing their phone to the system. We have a hard time getting my wives black berry to connect and stay connected. However My Droid X has no issues.

It's projected based on a sample of the surveys. Doesn't seem far fetched to me.

Yeah, lots of reports of people having trouble with the myTouch "infotainment" system...sounds like a good reason to predict poor reliability. \s

Yes, that factors into the reliability of the vehicle. That's why American cars have sucked for a long while. Sure your truck may still run but the power windows, locks and doors don't work anymore....and if you continued reading:

Sorry, put that in there wrong. I only have one, and THAT is enough for me! j/k

Why do you give a shit, anyways? You drive an 8yr old Civic. Still trying to rationalize so many years later?

I always love reading these threads.

All I know is I have a Town Car with 315,000 and a Chrysler LHS with 208,000 and I wouldn't hesitate to jump in either one and drive 700 miles to MI.

Over half a million miles, not bad, eh?
