Lynch???

Well, Romo does something Stafford can only dream about: moving in the pocket. His mobility is very underrated.

How many playoff wins does Romo have? 1? The one that got gift rapped last year? That's it? For people that downgrade stats (Staffords anyway), there sure is alot of stat loving going on right now.

he has 2 playoff wins

But Stafford's stats aren't that good... He just throws for a ton of yards.

Give me Eli over Romo every fucking time, but I'm certain you Romo lovers will disagree and point to his stats. LMFAO that people want Romo.

Could Romo prove worthy one day? Anything is possible, but with Jerry in charge, the Cowboys are pretty screwed up so I don't see them ever winning a SB. Eli is the one people should be saying is heads and shoulders above. Romo has better stats, but those don't mean jackshit when he hasn't won a SB or even a Conference CG. Maybe the Cowboys win more during the regular season than the Giants, but damn if the Giants don't peak better when it counts.

Now, how many of you Romo lovers would rather have Eli? I'm guessing you would prefer Romo's numbers.

I guess you like Dilfer and Brad Johnson more than Marino, Moon or Kelly?

Romo is a better QB than Eli...winning a SB doesn't tell you who is the better QB.

Staff or is more mobile than Brady. Brady has better pocket awareness, but is still less mobile. Brady overcomes that by being smarter.

GTFO...no way should anyone want Romo over Eli. Eli has 2 SB wins including an MVP. He beat the GOAT QB in both of those SBs, the first when Brady was gunning for being first to go 19-0.

Winning trumps stats. Brady is GOAT because of all his wins and Eli isn't better than Brady, but Romo most assuredly is a worse QB. Why? Leadership and ability to win games when they matter most, neither of which Romo excels at. Those two factors alone are reasons why Romo is barely thought to be maybe considered a future HoF member. Eli will absolutely be in the HoF, there is zero debate about that. Intangibles of Leadership and ability to win when it matters most are vastly more important than any stat line you can provide. Give me the absolute worst QB of all time in terms of stats, if he wins then he is better than the guy with the best stat line who cannot even get his team into the Conference CG, let alone win it to get into the SB.

If Stafford had taken the Lions to the SB in the 2 trips to the playoffs, none of these stats would matter, nor would there be discussion about a different QB. He didn't win in the playoffs which is why replacing him is a topic. Same holds with Romo where Cowboys fans often discuss moving on because Romo fails in the playoffs.

Dilfer and Johnson each had 1 good year. I put them in same category as Flacco. Since Flacco won a SB, he would start for me over Romo. I want my QB to be a winner. How many high stat college QBs end up winning in pros? How many flamed out? Same applies to Romo who consistently flames out in the playoffs.

Do you Romo lovers want a stat king or a SB winner? Think about that. Think hard.

Now, realizing that answer, tell me again why Romo is better than Eli. ROFLMAO.

So would you say Eli is better than Aaron Rodgers?

2013 for example. Detroit's OL rated much better. Romo was much better. The only year he had a much better OL was last year, 2014. We've had the good OL, we've had the bad OL and we've had the middle OL. Matt isn't any better with a stout OL. He's what he is.. When he has all the time in the world he stinks. That's when the OL blocks and guys are wide open. He does poorly. Can't wait until he's gone. You don't get better your 8th year. And one of the most inconsistent QB in the game.

I also agree with this. So in conclusion. Romo is better....especially when he has a good oline. Technically Romo has had Dallas in playoff contention with one of the worst defenses in the league....something Stafford has never done. And we all agree Stafford blows and is inconsistent no matter how much the GM caters to him. We have like 4 qb gurus...Stafford is worse now more than ever. We get more weapons....hes worse now more than ever. We add pieces on the oline...he worse now more than ever. Time to take a pay cut or just go....

My thought, maybe hope, is that when we get new coaches they can actually teach our young OL.

Replacing him is a topic because he isn't very good AND he can't win. Everyone knows that winning a SB takes a team effort. Some quarterbacks are simply great and can overcome shortcomings that are present on their team. Some are just good and need help. Some are average or below average and just get lucky. Eli is just slightly above average. They won those two SBs partially on luck and part by getting hot at the right time. Same with Flacco. Dilfer and Johnson were just along for the ride.

If you are trying to compare two QBs...look at what they have done over their careers...not just the playoffs. Just like in baseball...a shitty player might get hot in the playoffs and become a hero...but if he is a lifetime .230 hitter...he is still the same shitty player.

I guess we don't need the village idiot to derail a thread.

There are others that can do it just as well, it seems.

How is talking about a QB in a QB thread detailing?

Last time Lynch was mentioned??

Or is "Stafford vs. Eli vs. Romo" spelled L Y N C H???

I personally don't give a shit WHAT you talk about.....but it strayed WAAAAAAAAAAAY off topic and sounds like and LKP derailment.

Not sure you can talk about Lynch without talking your QB. Is not like we're talking about the coaching staff or the defense. It's a QB thread. This is about on topic as it gets.

Might have got carried away but it's on topic.

I'm not sure that I agree that a thread that is now discussing Stafford, his abilities vs. other active NFL qbs and if he could be as good as Romo with a better OL is "on topic" with a thread started about a specific college QB when that specific player hasn't been mentioned in multiple pages.

Is just like talking about drafting a potential LT and then talking about Reiff and other LT's. Like I said it got carried away.

But back on point.. From what I know Lynch I'm fine with. Just not as a first round pick. Take the guy from Alabama or someone similar later in the draft.
