I don’t know how one quantifies bias in comedy, but I suspect that comics are biased, first, last and always in favor of trying to be funny.

I think SNL makes jokes on Trump because he’s easy to make jokes on.

Oops, didn’t mean to post yet - there are people who are pundits/humorists with a specific political perspective and I tend to find the best ones funny. I like Samantha Bee, I like Bil Mahar, I like Ann Coulter and I just started listening to Ben Shapiro, who I really never paid much attention to until he came on 790 KABC, and I find him to be, primarily a comic-he’s funny as hell.

Pretty much everybody knows that Ann Coulter and Maher are friends, and she appears on his show often, but not everbody knows that also Ben Shapiro has been a guest on Bill Maher’s show, and they bonded over a couple of things-they have both been uninvited from Berkeley, and they both hate towel headed camel jockey A-Rabs.

CNN hosted a "town hall" for Bernie last night and on twitter someone pointed out that at least one of the people who were critical of him at the town hall are lobbyists in DC (of Cassidy and Assoc., and another works at a "non-profit" controlled by a bunch of financial and defense companies.

This shit runs deep... but I'm sure the Trump fans who cry "FAKE NEWS!" at CNN would be consistent here, even when CNN is critical of the biggest threat to their hero in 2020.
