Man, Bernie Sanders is so great

CNN hosted a "town hall" for Bernie last night and on twitter someone pointed out that at least one of the people who were critical of him at the town hall are lobbyists in DC (of Cassidy and Assoc., and another works at a "non-profit" controlled by a bunch of financial and defense companies.

This shit runs deep... but I'm sure the Trump fans who cry "FAKE NEWS!" at CNN would be consistent here, even when CNN is critical of the biggest threat to their hero in 2020.

do you really think Bernie would be a threat to Don?

Has anyone posted a link to this anywhere yet?

I didn’t find it on this thread-I came across it with in the last couple of days and I don’t know if I found it from a link on this board or not.

Anyway, there is obviously still a lot of bad blood coming from a former Clinton operatives against Sanders.

I really doubt that. I think he would scare a lot of moderate dems away. I can't stand Trump and couldn't stomach voting for him the last time. If it were between him and Bernie I think I would actually vote for Trump. (I just threw up a little bit)

are you one of the Koch Brothers?

Great-that’s where I first saw it-I missed it when I was checking back through.

Some radio talkshow host was talking about this politico article a couple of hours ago.

Nope. Don’t have you on ignore.

Does it make you feel bad that the most intelligent poster on this forum has you on ignore?

I couldn't care less if some snowflake has me on ignore and if he's the most intelligent poster on this board, this board's membership has problems.

oh.

ok.

well, you brought it up again, so I just thought that maybe it got under your skin a little bit.

that is awesome!

However, I don't like him because he's a socialist.

Tom: you're not a billionaire; I'm not a billionaire. Neither of us are ever going to be billionaires. It's better for you; it's better for me. it's better for everyone (except the billionaires).

But regardless, how exactly is Sanders going to make this a socialist country? He's running for president, not dictator. and even he has said his ideal is the sort of government FDR left us, it's just that this stupid country has swung so far to the right, that well-regulated capitalism is akin to "socialism" in some (also stupid) peoples' minds.

And even if you think he might go too far, remember, he'll have plenty of opposition to more socialist/public welfare policies (as opposed to the corporate welfare we currently dole out in spades, mostly to the drug, defense and oil industries) from not only the Republicans, but the Democrats. Pelosi and her ilk are as opposed to Bernie Sanders as anyone on the right.

Two parties that agree on everything but abortion...

If the office of the president had the same import it did in 1789, no one would be too concerned who held the office. (sic on the grammer (sic))
