Marlins @ Tigers 6-28-2016 Game 77

Miggy hits career home run number 425. He's one homer away from tying Billy Williams for 48th in MLB history.

Tigers hit three home runs in an inning for the second time this season (5/23 vs. PHI, 5th inning).

Not too many times will you see 3 homers in an inning and none of them were solo shots.

Did Moya sleep with Brad's wife or something?

DETROIT ? With left-handed pitcher Adam Conley on the mound for the Miami Marlins today at Comerica Park, Steven Moya won't be in the Detroit Tigers' starting lineup for the third straight game, manager Brad Ausmus said in his pregame media briefing.
Moya hasn't played since going 1-for-3 Friday in a 7-5 loss to the Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park.

Well he got one out in the 5th, he seems to be better out of the pen, I'd put him back in the pen over Sanchez then what to do with Sanchez? Is this the last year of his contract?

So he can put a few more on base like he does every inning. Just be happy he got you through 5 and you have a lead and go to the rested bullpen. Brad fail again.

I'm just happy Stanton didn't come up there in the 6th or they'd be losing again already

Too bad lefties have hit Conley better Brad. I'm growing tired of his half witted comments. If you wanna sit him because of his defense fine. Just don't say something that doesn't make sense.

After today's effort Mike pelfrey will have the worst WHIP in the league among qualified starters.

Pelfrey has now given up 13 HRs this year in 86 IP. 12 at Comerica in 47.3 IP. Yet, after tonight, he might be 2-2 at Comerica, but 0-5 Away. Baseball is a funny game at times.

He gave up 11 HRs all last year in 164.6 IP, only 3 at home in 82.6 IP.

A win on a night Pelfrey started...it's like a double bonus. Nice fresh start after that Cleveland debacle.
