When 2nd tier quarterbacks are passing the 5,000 yard mark on the regular then I think he may have a point. So only 4 quarterbacks in history have done it (the two besides Marino and Staff being first ballot hall of famers) but it's "nothing in today's NFL"?

well....3 guys did it this year , and 2 more came real damn close...Aaron Rodgers and Eli....Rodgers most likely does it if he plays week 17 against us.

and really in his first full year as a starter....go compare his YPA and rating to your BFF Rodgers numbers....Stafford beats him in both categories.

shows ya what a joke the QBR stat is and always has been , they even tried readjusting the way it was computed this past year it became such a joke stat.

And yes the mythical 5,000 has lost its shine but still is nothing to sneeze at. Its the sign of a legitimately great year but not all time great like it used to be.

On the other hand Faulk's job is to get people talking so you take a legitimate point and exaggerate it 20% that is the life of a TV talking head. It obviously worked in this case.

I just named a couple areas that I'd like to see stafford improve at. And you made out to be like I was insulting him
