On my Starter rankings list, I have Garza 58, Wandy 59 and Max 60 out of 150 starters.
Garza is arbitration eligible for 2012 and 2013. Scherzer includes 2014 as arby eligible. It is highly unlikely that either will make the $24 Mil Wandy is owed over the next 2 years. For a few Mil more, we could have Buehrle (51).
When you can sign a guy like Buehrle (Type B), why would you trade players for either Wandy or Garza? And, you get basically a better pitcher short term.
