Mattison to the enemy

I agree with Steve. I really don’t care about Mattison and Washington. I’m pissed off with our 1-9 record verses AP top ten teams and how our season has ended the last three seasons.

My initial thought on this was "Oh well, some turnover on the staff is probably needed. hopefully more to come from the offensive staff as well."

But now, I'm thinking this was a real ratfucking and sketchy as all hell.

If our company lost out on a big deal or acquisition to a competitor, and two members of the team that underperformed and cost us the deal went to work for that same competitor immediately after the deal closed... it would be scorched-earth lawsuit time. "Burn them to death" time.

To me it's just OSU giving us the finger like they do every November anyway. I guess we've gotten to the point where we are just used to it.

I agree with the old adage about not wrestling in the mud with pigs.

But if you want to eat bacon, ham, pork... I guess you need to find another way to kill them.

Harbaugh needs to think outside the box against them, because in their minds "anything goes as long as we get that W on the third weekend in November"

Hokebaugh's thoughts on this:

"We'll do what we do and see if they can stop it."

This reaks of Harbaugh the head coach being stubborn and running guys off. Heck how else are we suppose to look at it? Didn’t Mattison love Michigan. Wasn’t one of his kids living close to him? It also appears Mattison and Brown don’t see eye to eye. Is it really just money? Something reaks inside the halls right now at Michigan in my opinion.

Washington was a Ohio native. Not sure that his ties are not in that state. Just don’t know but the optics look terrible with both leaving .

Personally our defense has failed the last three seasons in the last few games of the year badly so I am all for Change at any position until we get over the top again.

That's the conspiracy theory I was getting at.

I don't think there is any conspiracy here. Harbaugh wasn't going to offer Mattison a new contract after Jan 10th, when Mattison's contract was set to expire.

Mattison got butt-hurt

OSU got rid of Schiano

OSU got together with Mattison and Mattison wanted to get back at Harbaugh for kicking him to the curb.

Mattison already showed his true colors back in '96 when he went to ND.

I don't think any of us will miss Mattison

The other guy was here barely a year, whatever.

Michigan's D had some lapses and probably needs something new anyway.

Maybe Harbaugh sent them to OSU as spies. They are going to get some really good intel, then next November, throw the game so JH can get his first win vs. OSU.

Yep. I hope the next time Michigan plays OSU that OSu's D-line performs like Michigan's did this year...
