Hayes starting is a head scratcher. Maybe the new coaching doesn't like Ivey's game? He doesn't shoot well and last year only had 5.2 assists to 3.2 turnovers per game.

From what I've read, Monty values defense which favors Killian.

Not exactly thrilled with starting a guard who can't score, but if Ivey has to earn his way into a starting role I guess I can understand. It's not going to matter who starts record-wise, I just hope Ivey can still get enough minutes to develop.
