Michigan Countdown 2019

46 days!

Hard to get excited about Michigan football when the media is picking Michigan to win the big ten when we have not won anything since 2004. Jim is great in all games except Ohio st and MSU. 15 freaking years since a big ten title is a joke. Failure after failure has made me so cynical about Michigan football that it is not funny.

But oh boy 1 hour before opening kickoff I will be drinking the Blue Kool-Aid like I always do! So tired of losing the big games. This has to be the year !
Go Blue !

I'm still excited to watch the games, but I know we'll lose to OSU again. It's an annual tradition now.

Our defense is thin at DT and we are replacing our two best DEs, best LB, best CB, and we'll probably be playing a true freshman at one S spot. Super talented true freshman, but freshman mistakes will happen no matter how talented.

We gave up 62 to Ryan Day's offense last year, so I don't see how this defense is going to do much better against OSU. No clue how anyone is picking us as the favorites for the B1G.

You can?t tell me a new qb for osu won?t have some effect on osu?s Offense. We may have to outscore them but if Don Brown?s defense is that bad again he should be let go.

But... RIVALRY GAME!

when we play OSU, records go out the window... and... we always lose.

2-16 now, since Jim Tressell introduced a shadier element to the competition in 2001.

When was the last time their new QB mattered against us?

They've always been shady. Hell, Andy Katzenmoyer couldn't spell "the", but they kept him eligible no matter what.

Yeah, but that (taking classes like "Football Management" and "Golf") was "run of the mill" stuff most programs do. tressell took it to another level.

Hell, at MSU I had friends who were not even athletes who took class in Bowling for college credit. They actually learned to bowl and went bowling. We had some notoriously dumb elective courses at UM, but you didn't get college credit for them. That's stupid as hell.

Jim Tressell is a pillar of the community!!!

I'm guilty. I got 12 college credits for classes like this at MSU

I didn't take Bowling, but knew some who did. I took Billiards, Judo, Aikido, First Aid (3 credits,) swimming, running. Most of them were 1 credit classes and were just fun to do.

I took Coaching Football, also. Going into the final, I had a 3.0. The class was actually kind of difficult. There were several athletes in this class. I don't think I did that well on the final. I got my grades and I received a 4.0. I always wondered if there was some shady shit going on there. I think they might've just gave everyone in the class a 4.0.

given?

sorry, I'll plead that I work with idiots all day...

I was goofing you, man!

I make grammatical errors on this board every day.

So does everybody else here.

That said?the rest of us get to plead that we work with idiots all day? you get to plead that you work with people who pleaded to felonies every day!

That makes you one up on the rest of us!

Hey-yo!

I?m here all week folks!

Just like all the felons on Hungry?s cell block!

MSU has a for-credit class on what it's like to attend school at Michigan.
