Michigan Football Recruiting '17

on this board, seems like views of our recruiting are pretty rosy.

Elsewhere I have a couple friends complaining it fell WAY off this last year, and a lot of kids we offered had no other impressive offers. and we missed a few targets, especially on offense

the thinking is this is all due to changing recruiting coordinators and losing Wheatley as an assistant.

We have missed on a few and this class is not as good as the previous two. Still, you never know how the players will turn out once the bright lights are on.

I just don't get worked up about recruiting anymore.

The class is ranked like 12th in the nation and they aren't done.

Hopefully we will start to put it together and win a bunch in a row . Like say 37.

Flipped a DE from Georgia Tech yesterday. German DE that Mattison liked a lot during our camp in June.

Got 3 big timers in McGrone, Sims, and Muhammad. Was hoping for the 4th in Reese. He may just want to stay home in Georgia. Oh well, we did alright today.
