*Michigan Football Recruiting '19 thread

Funny. There is a guy named Harrison and a guy named Harrison Bailey.

Yeah, Harrison Bailey committed to Tennessee.

Oh well

Zack Harrison is still a target. Some think Michigan leads. Some have said that he may be leaning elsewhere.

I have no idea.

I'm sure that recruits are constantly thinking about where to go, if to go here, if to go elsewhere, especially ones that aren't committed.

I know , but as you know that blowout in Columbus is not helping at all. What can our coaches really say ? Come and stop the streak . That is it. Michigan has better colors and a better fight song ! Go Blue! Ann Arbor is way better the Columbus!! Meyer is leaving after next season! They trouble with Harrison is he is surrounded by Sukcknut fans including his folks I think.

Recruits will come and go. I have no doubt that Michigan's D-line will continue to be good. If Michigan doesn't get this guy, they'll get a different one. OSU will always recruit well, whether Meyer is the coach or not. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about this recruit or that recruit.

Recruits will come to Michigan to get a great education. Recruits will come to Michigan to be coached by people with NFL experience. Recruits will see Michigan players getting drafted highly and want to be that guy. Recruits will come to Michigan if they see a pathway to early PT. Recruits might come to Michigan based on their perceived improvement from an 8-5 season of struggle to a 10-2 season where they stomped on several opponents. Not everyone can go to OSU. I'm certain Michigan will have a fine recruiting class.

As usual you talk my off the bridge again when it comes to Michigan football lol. I will let Harrison go and hope for the Best. Jim is a good recruiter so hopefully he can close the deal and get over the hump against osu on the field next season !

Harrison could still come to Michigan. He'll be deciding soon, because he plans to be enroll early. I just saw an article on another site that talked to some Michigan commits and they were saying that Michigan has a good chance with Harrison. This was after the OSU game.

Or he wants to win his conference and compete for a national title.

Probably a combo of all 3.

Good on you for being rational. I loathe Saban, Alabama, and the SEC but Michigan should count it's lucky stars that it still is able to recruit like it does with it's recent track record.

Or hes a pussy and rather sit for a couple years behind their other #1 ranked safeties they get every year.

Unfortunately, we just dont play the same game the south plays. This kid starts day 1 next year for us. He wont see the field for probably 2 years at Bama. National Championships or not, I think I would rather make an impact earlier rather than later. I think most kids would at a school that will still finish in the top 10(barring a let down in the bowl game) for one of the most visible schools in the nation. Money talks and that is all there is to it.

No. Most ultra competitive kids want to win championships.

Wow! This is too bad. A few of the "insiders" were just saying that they thought all of Michigan's commitments were solid. Guess not!

That's recruitin'!
