Michigan @ Indiana Game thread

A route short of the sticks .
Campbell is a clown as a oc.

The play of the game was the failure of the offense to move the ball on the final drive primarily due to Davis' inability to hit his receivers.

You guys need to fix this this off season and clean house. Bring in a real coach. No excuse to fall this far in 1 season. There's nfl talent still on this roster.

Embarrassing from our head coach.
Moore is so bad. He needs to be fired unless he figures this out. Freaking can pay players and UM has a 5-5 teams after a undefeated season.

Plus we have one awful OC.

Well, with a big win over NW Michigan becomes bowl eligible. I hope they can pull it off.

Handing the head coaching job to Moore was like the Democratic Party dubbing Harris as its candidate.

If just one more of the times they got into the redzone had been a TD instead of a fg!

in hindsight, I think Warde Manuel expected to keep Harbaugh in Ann Arbor, but Jim kept running his big mouth about the athletes deserving to be paid, and the NCAA I assume made it known to us that if he continued as coach, they'd turn up the heat on us.

I AGREE with Harbaugh on this, but from a selfish perspective as a Michigan fan, I wish Harbaugh could've just taken their shit and moved on, and stayed in Ann Arbor.

But the NCAA investigation lead to a breakdown in negotiations when each side tried to put the burden of that heat on the other, contractually.

I think Warde was probably glad Harbaugh left for LA, because that got rid of the (completely fucking bullshit) NCAA scrutiny, but left him in the lurch with respect to a lack of time to conduct a proper coaching search. So we were left with Sherrone Moore, who DID do an admirable job winning the games when Harbaugh was suspended the 2nd time, and so there was some reason to feel OKAY about it. But he's only 37, and had only handled running a program in that narrow context. and that seems a bit young and definitely inexperienced... being the HC at UM is not an entry level job. Look at how long Moeller and Carr had been assistants before they took over...

Warde is so lazy that he still couldn't get Moore's contract done until this year... or maybe he was dragging it out on purpose until he could see the results on the field and know whether Moore was "the guy" or not.

I am curious what Moore's contract looks like and whether UM could realistically fire him after this season.

I assume if he stays, he's going to have to hire two new coordinators (at the very least) and would only get one more year. But maybe we'll be surprised and see him canned in December so they can hire Scot Loeffler - who has done a great job at BGSU and would be a good fit.

And bring back Mike Hart, goddamnit!
