Michigan announced on March 23 that it will rename its softball stadium in honor of former head coach Carol Hutchins, who retired last fall after 38 years at the helm and as the winningest coach in NCAA softball history. The official unveiling for Alumni Field at Carol Hutchins Stadium is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 prior to U-M's Title IX game vs. Northwestern. The venue will continue to reside in the Wilpon Baseball and Softball Complex and flanked by the Donald R. Shepherd Softball Center.
