Michigan Stadium Parking ??

Hi guys,

I just bought tickets for the Liverpool/Manchester United game at Michigan Stadium in late July. I have never been there and am looking for some advice.

I will be driving there from Pittsburgh and driving back after the game. (I'm too old for this, btw)

What is the parking situation? Can I park right at the stadium (Google maps leads me to believe the answer to that is no) or is there a lot/shuttle situation. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure how different it will be for something other than a good ol' american football event, but here's some basic guidelines for parking and shuttles. http://mgoblue.com/news/2009/8/26/Parking_Information_for_Football_Game_Days

Many people park at the golf course, or at Pioneer High School across the street. You can also just look for street parking among the student housing. That can be hit or miss though depending where you are. Since this game is in late July the campus shouldn't be quite as full, so I suspect you'd be able to find a free parking space somewhere if you get there early enough. Might have a bit of a walk to get to the stadium, but personally I always find that part of the fun.
