Michigan vs Louiisville Ncaa Hoops 12 NOON

Yeah they have us as on the bubble for sure. Still plenty of games out there and they are 16-9 now. Not sure if freshmen Amy Dilk is out for the season or day to day . She left the Nebraska game on February 7th after a bad fall. Could be the knee injury.
 
Trailing 31-26 at home to Indiana in a game they can not afford lose. After leading 18-16 after one they were out scored 15-8 in the second quarter.

Big ten Standings. Most teams have 2 or 3 games left before the Big Ten Tournament. Top four teams get the double bye in big ten tournament. I think if Michigan at least splits the last two games they will clinch a top four spot. They beat osu so that tiebreaker is covered.

Looks like they are in the tourney as of now. But they still have some work to do. The ladies have been playing really well lately. If they are able to win @MSU it would be huge!

At East Lansing. Michigan on a 7 game winning streak . Msu on a 3 game losing streak. Michigan never plays good at East Lansing or verses MSU in general., and the the start comfirms it. MSU 9-0 to start the game. Girls look slow to start the game.. press gets Michigan a run to get closer 9-7. Michigan has 11 freaking turnovers already in one quarter...That is awful. Thome is having a awful start. 0 point. 2 turnovers, and 2 fouls. Allen is crushing her so far with 10 points. Michigan Trails. 22-18 end of the first. Lead back up to 9 for MSU early second.

Trail 42-37 at half . 13 total turnovers. 11 in first quarter. Thome held scoreless at half.
Munger 4-5 from three trying to keep it close.

Um 5-8 from three.
Msu 4-13 from three.

Down 12 53-41. Thome 4 pts in third but team is just not playing good. Getting out hustled on the boards. Need another run.


Msu 59-48 End of the third. One coach has their team ready. The other does not.
20 turnovers before the third is over is embarrassing. So many unforced errors.

Too many turnovers. Michigan losses at east Lansing again. Nothing new. Out hustled and out worked. Final Msu 74-64.

Osu won last night at Wisconsin to tie Michigan at 10-7. This weekend Michigan plays Wisconsin at home on senior day. Rutgers travels to Osu. Either a win by us or a loss by osu clinches the double bye for Michigan. But we cannot afford a bad loss to Wisconsin. They are just not very good at 4-13, and 13-16. Plus at 19-10 a win would get us to 20 and I think lock up a ncaa bid.

Michigan leads from wire to wire on senior day and beats Wisconsin 59-49 and finish in fourth place for the double bye at 11-7, and 20-10 overall.
 
Not a bad season. About 3 weeks ago, it looked to be a bad season, but the women really turned it on there at the end.

i sure wish the women's team would do better against MSU.

Yeah MSU sue Merchant has Michigan?s number that is for sure. .
Kim is trying though . Wish we could cut down on our turnovers.
