Second consecutive two hit night looks like his new not built for comerica park mechanics are starting to settle in more.

2 for 4, double, single

  • Career hit #'s 2,770 and 2,771 breaks tie with Johnny Damon 54th all time, Andre Dawson next up (2,774)

  • Career Double #571 reasonable to hope he could yet pass at least four more guys this year on the Career Doubles board. Next one catches Pudge at 26th and don't look now but we have another active player climbing this ladder not all that far behind Miggy in Robinson cano. Don't think he'll catch up to him this year but could happen next year if Miggy's production remains well below his ave next year also.

  • 1,712 career singles His next single will put him into a four way tie at 113th which includes in the bunch Alan Trammell (1,713)

  • With his 3 total bases tonight he is now in the top 30 all time total bases (4,789) passing Andre Dawson (4,787) at 29th is Manny Ramirez (4,826)
