I hear you but it was already gonna be tough to replace our 2nd and 3rd top scorers, plus the defense they both provided. Now it's the top 3 scorers and our best player by far.

It's easier to fill holes if you adapt to the portal era. He hasn't.....yet anyways

agreed, I'm just really bummed he doesn't want to stick around and try to make a FF and win a championship. He has the injury risk, but it's not like he's broke. His family is well off and he'd make good money if he stayed.

And the hole Jase is leaving isn't going to be filled completely unless he pulls a POY candidate type player because that's what we're losing.

But he has to do something in the portal because we're only returning 8 scholarship players next year - not sure if that includes Ward and the other incoming freshman whose name I can't remember.

Izzo picks up a wing in the transfer portal. Kaleb Glenn from FAU - looks like a really solid pickup but is a bit surprising given he looks like a starting caliber 3 and we have Carr making big leaps this year. Glenn looks like a much better shooter (41% from 3) but I'd be surprised if he can guard as well as Carr.

Carr played a lot of 4. Im sure they'll play together a lot and Carr will still have time at the 3 too.

Need to at least add 2 guards that can handle the ball, but this seems like a good get. Looks like maybe a Raymar comp with a shot. Him and Fears played aau together so a little familiarity.

Yeah, I saw that connection in the article. If he’s ready for a backup role at the point and Teng takes a step where he can play meaningful minutes at the 2 it would be a nice pickup. We’d prob still need a starting caliber 2 from the portal - if all that falls into place we could have another solid 4 guard rotation
