Opener vs OSU. I'm hoping for a big start and early lead so Winston doesn't have to play 35+ minutes. Saw he's dealing with tendonitis in his knees. This team is due for a lights out shooting performance so hopefully that happens today.

Not the start I wanted to see. Thankfully Loyer is keeping us in it

I'm not watching the game as I'm at work, but I almost fell out of my chair when I just looked and saw he had 14 points.

There was something about a toe or foot injury suffered against UM that is bothering him a bit.

Loyer stepped up and Cash only had to play 22 minutes. Ward looked good, but his hand is still a bit of an issue.

Winston’s toe is bothering him, but he said he can play through it. We’ll see how it is.

I hate watching Wisconsin basketball. All the slapping and flopping they do is maddening

All those minutes have caught up with Winston. Kid is tough as hell

Too much hot dog from Tillman on that dunk. Just make the bucket. You don't need to try to bring the rim down

So many times this year I look up and see lineups like Loyer, McQuaid, Ahrens, Goins and Tillman and wonder how this is a top ten team. It amazes me what they have accomplished so far.

Gonna take some clutch plays to win this one the way it's being called. 12 msu fouls and only 4 ft attempts for Wisconsin tells me that they're calling shit

We've had endless chances to put this away and keep letting them hang around. Yeah refs aren't helping.

Man, I'm leaning toward wanting to see Winston sit tomorrow. That kid is our only chance at a run and he needs rest. Every game he's getting hurt more. As wide open as the field is we have a decent shot at a title with Winston and zero shot
without.

Good win. Although Winston is now nursing 4 separate injuries, he’s barely played 45 minutes this weekend so he’s getting some rest. Win tomorrow and a 1 seed is still a small possibility.

I think it we get Michigan tomorrow and beat them again that we should get the final #1 seed.

Stupid Dickie V rattled off about 6 other teams in the running and never mentioned us. Gonzaga doesn't deserve it now, and I tend to think UNC should drop to the 2 after not getting it done last night. And the loser of Kentucky/Tennessee would be out of the running.

IMO Duke and VA are locks. I think Gonzaga will still get a one. If MSU wins today the final one will be either TN (if they win), MSU or NC. All three have very similar resumes. If I were on the committee I wouldn't give it to NC since there are already 2 ACC teams as one seeds. That would leave 28-6 MSU or 30-4 TN.
