IMO Duke and VA are locks. I think Gonzaga will still get a one. If MSU wins today the final one will be either TN (if they win), MSU or NC. All three have very similar resumes. If I were on the committee I wouldn't give it to NC since there are already 2 ACC teams as one seeds. That would leave 28-6 MSU or 30-4 TN.

Agree. Don't get these people still saying Gonzaga is a lock. Again I would have felt differently if they were 2-1 vs Duke, Tenn, and UNC instead of 1-2 and not lost by 13 points to a team that otherwise wasn't getting into the tournament.

And with UNC it's too much of a deal of the ACC having its cake and eating it too. You can't say Duke's losses to UNC never really happened because Zion was out and then turn around and give UNC credit for those same games. And have people forgotten how Michigan demolished them (and also Louisville on their home court). I know that they're an improved team since then, but does November and December count or doesn't it?

UT if they win today is deserving.

It all may not matter as I don't have a great feeling about today for us.

Winning your conference reg title doesn't matter. Winning your conference tourney doesn't matter. Quadrant 1 wins don't matter. At least that's what I make of this.

Not only are we in Duke's region but we could be playing a team that beat us in the 2nd round.

We have a better resume than UNC or Gonzaga, but it is what it is. No reason to worry upsets happen, just get hot and play well.

I do think it was hilarious that the committee chairman said we leap frogged Kentucky with our win today. Say what? Kentucky is in a region with a weaker 1 seed and playing in Columbus which is closer to MSU than Des Moines by 300 miles.

We should have lost today I guess.
