Tough one tonight, second toughest remaining game other than Wisconsin. Keys tonight will be foul trouble and rebounding. MSU did a good job of avoiding foul trouble in the first game, IL gets to the line and shoots well, we do not. We need to keep this in check to have a shot. On the boards we need a big advantage, we're a great rebounding team and they're terrible, negative on the season including non conference. In east Lansing we only had a 1 rebound advatage, need to exploit that. Illinois got a huge game out of egwu who played 38 minutes, he's usually on the bench early w 2 fouls. He's also a 20% 3pt shooter who hit two against us

MSU is -1 tonigjt, I expect a war. If we can pull this out I'll be very impressed.

Really not expecting a win. These games are generally brick laying hackfests with a total of 105 points scored. I do like this new lineup with Nairn starting and Trice coming off the bench. So far its worked the last few games.Egwu is really going to be the x factor, if hes converting were going to struggle. Nananana nananana hey hey hey Gooooodbye ....

We're missing open shots and they're hitting junk early. Gotta weather the storm

Trice can't hit anything so far. Nice run to tie it up though. Love Nairn pushing the ball.

Our wings need to do a better job of feeding our bigs down on the block.

Agree. They need to keep feeding Dawson. He missed a couple, but he's getting makeable attempts nearly every time and getting it in good spots.

Another game where our lack of front court depth is hurting. Because Izzo won't play Costello or Schilling with 2 fouls we get 5 mins of Wollemen.

Jesus Christ, Nairn had a wide open path to the basket and he passes it out for a 3 instead of taking the layup.

Haha I enjoyed those "can't read can't write" chants, I don't blame them I guess. If my school was as shitty at athletics as Ill-annoy was then I would thump my chest about academics too.
