The good news is they shot free throws a lot better. If they shot how they did all season they lose this game.

Shaky at the end, but at this point I'll take it. The W, tied for second in conference and 5-2 on the road in conference. Need to win the remaining home games.

Really not expecting a win. These games are generally brick laying hackfests with a total of 105 points scored. I do like this new lineup with Nairn starting and Trice coming off the bench. So far its worked the last few games.Egwu is really going to be the x factor, if hes converting were going to struggle. Nananana nananana hey hey hey Gooooodbye ....

Wasnt far off.....

This venue is alwasys filthy, it doesnt matter if you bring the 99-2000 team. Refs are always whistle happy and nobody can get an easy bucket. Funny how Izzo will get pressed, cough up easy points but he wont ever press and put a team out of their misery. This team is 10-4 in B10 play but they are indeed that, a team of role players, Not fun to watch by any stretch. We will crack the top #25 again and steal another road win.

2nd toughest remaining game, 12-6 is likely, outside shot at 13-5

Of course it was shaky but a good performance overall. I love trice and Tum in the game together, trice is so much better when he can play off the ball a little bit

Team didn't shoot well, but gutted this out and played great for 36 minutes. Almost choke it away, but we did enough. Illinois is long and athletic on D, just very tough.

Refs were terrible, called almost 30 fouls in the 2nd half. I was getting tired of it even when they called Illinois. Just painful to watch.

Pretty impressive that they took the lead with a few minutes left in the first half and kept them at arms length the whole time

Borderline unwatchable - both teams were in the bonus less than 9 minutes into the 2nd half. 30 of the 65 second half points came at the foul line. I had MSU -1/2 and under 67 for the second half. Both hit but because of all the foul shots and MSU's inability to handle the press I actually had sweat out what should have been easy money - would have easily covered and gone under without the turnovers and the whistle happy refs.
