I guess the concerning thing is that he wasn't suspended or anything while charges are pending.

kinda reminds me of LJ Scott and Dantonio last year... not that what Scott did was by itself THAT bad, but it's surprising these coaches can just waive it off like that. they must be under tons of pressure to win at all costs.

See, here is part of the problem, ESPN reports this, links are provided, but MSU fans don't bother to read the report. Instead they go to their messages boards and see what other MSU fans are saying and they imagine a situation where this guy hasn't done anything wrong. They don't bother to read the article. They don't bother to watch the ESPN OTL report, yet they know everything about it and they know it is all false. Maybe he hasn't done anything wrong, but there is more than just an investigation going on as evidenced by what it actually says in the article, detailed here by MC.

SO either they know about it or someone (campus police) is in violation of this.

This link, this new article, pretty much compiles everything we've been talking about, as well as, reports this new situation with the walk-on. It even goes into detail about MSU is "cooperating with every investigation" by stonewalling ESPN even on this current situation with the walk-on; asking for a delay for the FOIA, no one responding to calls or voicemails or emails, and this Truscott guy saying they have no information. This is not how you be transparent and cooperate with an investigation. Yes, the press conducts investigations and people who claim they will cooperate are expected to cooperate. That is the point of the press, right?

Yes, Hollis was informed on Wednesday that ESPN was about to release the OTL report and he was asked to comment about the ESPN OTL report that was due to come out on Friday. Hollis refrained from commenting and then "retired" 2 hours before the ESPN OTL report was released. Nothing fishy here, please move on.

Here's the hypocrisy and I'm not necessarily throwing Spartynash under the bus here, but this is the hypocrisy. Michigan football had a very similar situation with Grant Perry. MSU fans were all over the place saying that Harbaugh was protecting this player even though Harbaugh suspended Perry from ALL team activities like 3 days after the incident and through the entire investigation period, causing Perry to miss the bowl game trip, the trip to Italy, and at least 3 regular season football games completely. He wasn't allowed to be a part of the team at all. Then his case gets finished and he comes back to the team and MSU fans are all over Harbaugh for being soft and allowing a rapist on the team...when he didn't rape anyone.

This is how I feel about it. I'm not calling out coaches saying they handled things improperly, but I do think it's BS, all the garbage we've heard for years. Now, all of the sudden Spartans figured out how to be understanding. Hopefully it's mostly different individuals, but if you want to talk about stereotypes, I've seen Penn State fans claiming that the Spartan fans base was the one with the most aggressive "burn the whole thing to the ground and boot them from the Big Ten" fan base reaction to Sandusky.

If you read a couple of websites, you'd probably be able to build a reasonably well diversified portfolio of index ETFs that will fit your risk tolerance and investment horizon. Well, maybe you can't, but someone who didn't have to study criminal justice probably could. You might have a shot at being as good a lawyer as MC though, that bar is probably pretty low.

I guess something that these MSU fans have missed over the years of my life story is that my BA from MSU is not just in Criminal Justice, because we all know that CJ majors are just dummies and jocks...or maybe they are people that are going to wind up in police work and may have done that or may have just veered away from that at some point and landed in a similar line of work. No, I finished 2 majors from MSU. I thought that was widely known, but whatever. MY degree is actually a dual-major degree in criminal justice and I completed the degree requirements for a Psychology degree. I just never really pursued anything in the psychology aspect of my degree. I know any dummy can get a degree from MSU, though, so I shouldn't be too proud of myself...at least that is what these MSU fans are telling me.

My dad was a teacher in the Ann Arbor public schools and my parents ended up retiring pretty well putting additional investment monies into a fund managed on behalf of the Michigan state (not MSU, a statewide association for public school teacher) teachers association-I think that is what the name of the organization was (probably still is).

My experience is that beer sit downs with Vic end up being closer to eight than one.

When did you get your degrees? Michigan State doesn't or at least didn't award degrees with dual majors at least through the mid-90s. I know because 4 people in my family have degrees from MSU and at least two of us (one sister and I) have enough credits for double majors.

Spartans fans aren't missing anything when it comes to your resume. What you're missing is nobody cares what your degrees are in, they don't suddenly make the stupid shit you say sound smart. Self loathing refers to an extreme dislike or hatred of oneself, or being angry at or even prejudiced against oneself. The term is also used to designate a dislike or hatred of a group, family, social class, or stereotype to which one belongs and/or has.
