Get StartedBallgame!!!! Good god that was rough. Kudos to Harvard, but with the way the game is called now it doesn't bode well for us. Fouls will more than likely be our death.
They'd better adjust. Because that's how it going to be all tournament. It should be interesting if Virginia is the next opponent as they're pretty physical too.
How do you tell someone to stop playing tough defense though. It's the part of their game that separates them from most teams.

After the season is done, I am almost certain that news will come out that Appling will have surgery on his wrist. I don't for a second buy that his wrist is not bothering him. It is almost impossible to have 0 offense after what he was doing to teams earlier this year.

You may be right. It's hard to tell if it's physical or mental at this point. Missed shots can mess with your head regardless of the reason, and until he sees a few go down his confidence might still not be there.
I'm not sure the team can advance much further with him going 0-2 from the field playing extended minutes.
the PG spot is evolving, Trice is handling the scoring load and Appling is playing walton type basketball. he's defending and pushing the ball on the break, driving occasionally. it's not ideal but we're piecing it together with him and Trice
