MSU vs Illinois

Honestly, this may be the worst game I've seen from MSU since Izzo took over.

What a pathetic effort. Appling has been around for 4 years, I'm pretty sure he's not going to forget the offense if you sit him for the rest of the season. I just honestly don't see why he's playing right now. His free throws look worse than Shaqs. He's obviously hurting.

Exactly, im not sure who wrote it earlier but they do appear not to care. Yes, yes I know they do but they sure as hell dont act like it. Fans needed to booooo them....

I'm more concerned with Izzo's performance.

Shuda started resting Appling a week ago. He is clearly hurt and useless. He MUST be rested if this team is going to have any chance in the NCAA tournament. The title is lost, screw the BTT. The idea that he has to play hurt and useless to maintain chemistry is laughable. As is this team has no shot at accomplishing anything significant.

I'm not ready to say this team is toast yet, but they have a long way to go and not a long time to get there. Their NCAA seed is going into the shitter. They may fall to a 6 or worse if they don't get it together.

We fell short across the board. Missed free throws, copious amounts of turnovers, errant passes, no rebounding, missing shots NOT HUSTLING and poor coaching decisions. complete trash...

Its too late now

I'm still holding out hope. They showed early this year that they CAN play well. Izzo just needs to find the right buttons to push.

Against who? Overrated Kentucky who would probably wipe the floor with this team now or soon to be unranked Texas? We have been manhandled twice by Michigan and lost to Georgetown who stinks and at home to Nebraska and Illinois held to 60, 51 and now 46 in those three losses. And we struggled at home against Columbia and virtually every visiting B1G team. We have more bad losses than quality wins. Izzo needs to find the right asses to kick - and he has to rest Appling.
