Get StartedEvery game I see, I become more and more upset with Andrew Maxwell. The WRs have improved their drops, Cook takes care of the ball, and the run game works when there is an actual threat of passing. It's crazy how different the entire team has become thanks to removing Maxwell.
Jeremy Langford has more rushing TDs this year than Leveon Bell had last year. Langford has been everything we heard he'd been in practice for the last couple years. Really is a solid back, think he'll get better and better with more confidence. Should be a stud next season.
Back to back games now he's had those long runs at the end of the game for touchdowns to put a smile on Dantonios face. But seriously he's had 4 or 5 straight 100 yard games.
Great to be 9-1 but I have to say all the chest pounding is a bit much. Nebraska had 5 turnovers to our 0 and they were still in the game until we scored on a 5 minute drive late in the 4th quarter. I would hardly say the offense is really clicking. This game was won by field position.
this goes to show how far MSU football has come, we're bitching about a road win at nebraska by two td's.
we're nit picking 6-0 in conference with two winnable games to go.
we've come a long way
Love the spin. Who's bitching about a road win? How is pointing out the biggest story of the game "nit picking"? If you win the turnover battle 5-0 and can't put the opponent away by the middle of the 3rd quarter, your offense is not very good. There are definitely 3 and probably 5 SEC teams that would have won that game despite the turnover deficit. Our offense can only score on bad defenses.
I do agree with you that OSU is beatable as, thankfully, their major weakness is also their defense and their offense is good but hardly a juggernaut.
no spin, saying that we should have won by more or put the game away earlier is nit picking a two td win @ Nebraska.
discrediting our win by saying a bunch of SEC teams would have done better is nit picking.
we had a huge program win @ Nebraska and all but assured us a spot in the title game and we still find faults.
