NCAA Baseball Super Regionals

I don't see how we're going to get two more outs the way this is going...

There goes this game. So why wasn’t that pitch thrown to the pervous batter.

This is big ten baseball for you I guess. It’s what we never win anything.

would have left Henry in even after the homer at 6-3.

A bullpen that can?t throw strikes. No wonder we lost the regular season and in the big ten tournament. 3 fucking outs away and the walk 4 batters and give up a 7 spot in the 9th so far.

Same thing happened to Nebraska by Oklahoma st and the next day Nebraska was beat 16-1 by UConn. Hard to recover blowing a game like this. I just would not have pulled Henry.

So much for a fresh Bullpen. I just don?t get not thorwing fast balls up 7-4 in the 9th
Right down the middle to start the inning at least. Terrible managing also. I just don?t get not pitch to the hot hitter.

Flat out embarrassing pitching. Probably choke like the softball team. So frustrated. Not only giving up 7 runs in the 9th but all of the lob?s tonight so many chances to score a lot of runs. I just don?t get not throwing strikes up 3 runs. Guess easier said then done.
How does this team get up off the mat tomorrow.

And this sums up Michigan sports this year. Have a chance to win a championship and blew it.
Football ended the season on another losing streak
basketball had every chance to win something and couldnt
Softball won the B10 and B10 tourney but lost last 2 games at home to lose regional
And now baseball seems headed down same path,

Blue Jays score 7 in the ninth down 7-4 as Michigan bullpen collapses badly.
Michigan collapses and loses 11-7.
Like I said Nebraska fucked a 3 run lead in the ninth to Oklahoma st and never
recovered, and was crushed the next day.

Regional final Monday. Time to be determined.

I agree with everything wheels said. My quote button won?t work, and in dramatic 9th inning fashion. Plus we will be the road team tomorrow. Had it all right there and fucking bullpen with a 7-4 lead just would not throw strikes.

The Michigan bullpen looked like a bunch of people on the physical disabilities short bus.

That 9th inning sums up Big Ten baseball in a nutshell. Just not very good.

A loss tomorrow would be the perfect apt piece of shit topping on what all year was looking like it might just be a really nice cake.

Problem is now that our 3 starters have pitch who starts tomorrow?

Btw Henry has 1 complete game and was pulle after giving up a homer leading 6-3. Maybe let him have another batter ? Or did they ?

Looks like Isaiah Paige if I am looking at the stats right. Can?t use the game one starter it?s only been since Friday. I also want to point out that every time I saw our bullpen in action late in the season we always seems to be nibbling the corners instead of going right after the guys. Same thing happened tonight. Throw strikes.

Maybe.

I think your post number 406 pretty much hit it on the head though.

Just throw fastballs especially early in the count-and challenge Creighton hitters to beat you.

Michigan did the opposite. They walked or hit a whole lot of batters and ended up beating themselves.

And you were right about they should?ve walked the hot hitting left-handed hitter with first base open.

And they should?ve pulled the first reliever who couldn?t throw a strike to save his life after the second hitter reached base.

hold on, let me write this all down

Showing tomorrow night, 7 PM Pacific-so 10 PM Eastern-on ESPN3.

One of the announcers said something about the Bull pen being rested but not mentally ready, and that?s the point-maybe the Bull pen was too rested.

We Detroit Tiger fans all watched great Justin Verlander start two World Series game one appearances, both times after a long layoff since the Tigers had clinched the American League pennant.

Both times Verlander was out of sync, and not just with Tiger fans, but the talking heads all said that in both of those starts Verlander looked out of rhythm from the layoff-it?s definitely a rhythm game, especially in pitching.

So despite the disappointment, I look as tomorrow?s game as being a tossup going in-just depends on who happens to be better overall tomorrow.
