I think your post number 406 pretty much hit it on the head though.
Just throw fastballs especially early in the count-and challenge Creighton hitters to beat you.
Michigan did the opposite. They walked or hit a whole lot of batters and ended up beating themselves.
And you were right about they should?ve walked the hot hitting left-handed hitter with first base open.
And they should?ve pulled the first reliever who couldn?t throw a strike to save his life after the second hitter reached base.
I have watched a few games this year and our manager does werid things. I just don?t get not walking that guy to set up the dp. Same thing happen against Kentucky. Bullpen was afraid to throw fastball. But last night I just don?t get it up 3. This is Weiss is fault. I don?t care if your control stinks. Just groove a damn 80 mph right down the middle with a 3 run lead and see what happens. Man I just don?t get how our coaching staff was directing our pitchers last night.
