New OC??

We already tried the Saints play book, it was a major failure here.

So what? Doesn't mean you don't go back to the well. Saints have some great offensive minds over there as coaches.

Didn't have the protection for the Saints playbook before. Now we do.

Stafford had more TDs than Brees did his first 10 seasons. Stafford can be Brees only better in his 30s.

Im not crying at all...im telling you a fact. The Lions front office cant get it done and dont have enough pull to go out and get a guy like the Bears did to fill their spot. It is what it is....im used to it. Dont tell me about playoffs still going on and all that bullshit...several playoff coaches agreed to new jobs. Not with our team!

Lmao. You're a crybaby. It's all you do. You want the Lions to make a quick hire because it makes YOU feel better. Doesn't work that way, pal!! It's not all about you lol. You have no idea what's going on and then when something doesn't go YOUR way, you make shit up tp prove a point lol. It's actually quite entertaining. The Lions will hire someone soon enough and then we'll hear from guys like you that they just "settled" for a guy and he actually "sucks" at his job. Like fucking clockwork lol

At this point all I want is an OC who isn’t predictable and is capable of changing hand signals at least once a season.

go ahead and save this for when they are forced to promote godsey.

Last time Lions didn't get who they wanted it worked out pretty well. Whisenhunt

The problem is really, nobody wants to live in Detroit. Team needs to move to a new more desirable city

Meh while that may be true for some the tigers never had any huge issues getting players to come to Detroit when pappa I was in charge. Nobody really lives in Detroit anyway, they all live in surrounding burbs. Maybe the attraction problem really has more to do with not wanting to play for an organization that has a long history of being a laughing stock and being known as a place to go to have careers die.

Not sure I agree with moving but you're correct with the premise about who knows who will be good and who will not? How many wanted Lombardi, how many wanted Gym Shorts (<<this guy) etc.. I even though Hue Jackson was a good hire in Cleveland, ouch. JBC and his conservative approach would have worked if we had a stout defense like other teams.

The Packers are closing in on a deal to make ex-Jaguars OC Nathaniel Hackett their new offensive coordinator.
Hackett to GB is bound to get Lions fans mad, but he has some of the same flaws that got Cooter run out of town.

Who did you want then?!?! Because I know you weren't onboard with Sarkisian, Hackett or Monken. Enlighten us with your fucking wisdom, man!!

I don't know who I want because well it's just a crap shoot but Godsey would probably not be wise. Need new blood.

i said both Hackett and Sarkisian were better than what we had and to make it happen. 1 decided goin backwards back to alabama was better than the Lions opportunity. And it looks like 1 is going to decide the Packers is better than the Lions had to offer. 1 decided the Browns were the better destination. So here we sit...waiting and getting articles about how we need to be patient. If patient means we get a guy like Waldron cool and then feel free to call me a dope all you want. if patient means...fuck...we ran out of people and time so lets promotoe godsey. Then fuck you i told you so lol :D

For those interested in Kubiak.
Vikings hiring former Broncos? HC Gary Kubiak in an offensive advisory role, per a league source. Kubiak?s son, Klint, is expected to become Vikings? QB coach and Kevin Stefanski will remain as Vikings? OC.

O'Shea?
Has been considered the Pats OC in waiting for a couple years now and with McDaniels returning again, he may be looking for a opportunity to jump to an OC job.

Former #Jaguars OC Nathaniel Hackett is headed to Green Bay, as the #Packers are hiring him as their new offensive coordinator, source said.
He?ll absolutely challenge and engage Aaron Rodgers.

Every OC candidate the Lions have reportedly been interested in is now employed.
One of Chad O'Shea or Shane Waldron is probably the guy.
