Get StartedThis is what I was alluding to in the other thread. If the Pistons want to be taken seriously, they can't start to fizzle. Need to take the next two in my opinion.
Honestly still torn, because i'd rather have them lose every game the rest of the way and get a good pick, then just barely crawl into the playoffs under .500 and get blown out of the first round. We lived through that crap enough already under Joe D, and it's why it's taking so long to rebuild. Hard to get blue chip players that way.

nothing guaranteed in the draft, time to start building a winning culture. i'm sick of talking about the draft halfway into the season.

So am I...but we have to face facts at this point. Are they a championship contender as they stand? Nope, at least not in my opinion. Yeah they can maybe finish around 40-42 and make the 7th or 8th seed...but that doesn't do much to move the needle for me. If it's a choice between that and getting a high draft pick, i'll take the pick.
I guess Drummond has a illness...said it on the post game show.
flu or a cold?
The lineups were working late, so it shouldn't be a huge deal to mix things up a bit and get a little earlier start. No different than what Babcock does with the Wings. I would have used a Leyland/Ausmus comparison there, but those two seem dead set on each person having a defined role and the subs plugging right into that. That's why we'd sometimes see DKB leading off or hitting clean up. LOL!SVG made a point of saying these slow start have to stop or he is changing the line-up again.. He is tired of guys showing no energy at the start of game...
