Next top prospects to be traded..

Never mind, that was before they got Pauly.

thats only a 1 year deal. i doubt a gm going thru a firesale wouldnt still be looking for low priced prospects just cause you have an old veteran on a 1 yr deal in his spot. Especially since Nick worked all year in the OF last year.

No he didn't. He had only 51 games in RF last year.

Lakeland 55 games = 51 3B, 4 DH

Erie 79 games = 51 RF, 27 3B, 1 DH

Except we're comparing him to other people who have been doing the same thing, and can run and catch much better than him.

The defensive reports for Castellanos in the OF were not good.

So youre saying that because a team signs a guy like placido polanco for 1 year that means that if they got a 3b prospect for their future that they would have to move him into the OF for the forseeable future? You guys are making no sense.

If he is your 3B of the future, you shouldn't stymie his development by putting him in the OF one year, only to return him there the next. That doesn't make sense. If the Marlins do trade for him, they would most likely use Polanco at 2B over "slug" Solano.
