Yeah two perfect passes to Reynolds and he drops both of them. His only drops in 2023. None of that loss at SF was Goffs fault. Still unsure if Campbell should have kicked the fg before Reynolds 1st drop.

Now he had some issues yesterday. Wish he had checked it down on the pick 6. Plus that 3rd and 1 was just a dumb play call but Goff needs to protect the ball when he reloads. So weird how we were much better on the road this year.

The thing about dumb play calls is they're only dumb when they don't work. If it works, it's brilliant.

It’s better having a shot for the nfc title game and the Super Bowl last season then the Patrica era, way better then the Caldwell era, Hell what other era has the last two years not been better then except the 1950’s ? The Stafford Trade made Detroit so much better. We got so many starters for him. Not sure who is out there that can run this offense better than Goff that we can acquire ?

I just don't get the hate from some people. Hell the Tigers drafted Mahomes sadly not the Lions. Hopefully Holmes and Campbell can reload the team next season. Who knows maybe the new dc and oc will be better than Glenn and Johnson. Hopefully we can take that next step.

We all know 3rd and 1 there is no reason to go empty backfield. It so helped out Washington. I truly think Ben gets sped up in his play calling at times. Just run the ball there. Even if it worked it would been stupid. Sadly St. Brown either tripped or fell down on the route..
Give the ball to Gibbs.

That play calling was talked about all morning on the radio shows I listen to. Lions up 7-3 at Washington 17 and it’s 3rd and 1. I forget if it was Gibbs or Montgomery but they either motion him or send him out. I just disagree with not running the ball there. You had 2 downs to get one yard. You are winning. St Brown was the target he tripped and Goff had to look for a different option. He was hit and fumbled.
10 plays and 78 yards later it is 10-7 instead of 10-3 or 14-3. I just hate throwing there. It was pretty apparent after that drive and losing Robertson our defense was in trouble. It just would have killed more time. Goff’s turnovers didn’t help and he was never the same after the pick 6 and getting blasted to the head.
We rushed for over 200 yards too. Just hand the ball off.

I bet every Seattle player coach fan anyone who was rooting for the Seahawks wish Skittles had run the ball. If I interviewed Pete Carroll for a coaching job I would ask him. I wonder what he would say ?

Like Dan said in his post game interview he didn’t have the team ready. I really thought off a bye week we would be. Both our OC and DC had subpar games yesterday. Even scoring 31 I thought Ben was off.. Glenn had no one left but his game plan for Daniels was putrid.
I can’t believe we were not ready for the naked bootleg. Arnold totally whiffed.

I was so pissed. I needed a Stafford INT for a $200 parlay winner. I thought I had a chance when it was 4th down...then he basically throws the ball out of bounds. Give somebody a chance to catch it!
