NFL already ruined this draft

I have to be honest here too, and people can slam me for not being an NFL junkie, that's cool. The NFL draft is so incredibly boring if you aren't a die hard. After the Lions pick, I truly don't need to turn the TV back on unless there's a trade or it's the next Lions pick. When the draft gets into rounds 4-7, and the building is cleared of everyone except 10 fans and the janitors, it's just so boring. I don't care who Green Bay takes at 25, or SF takes at 28, none of that stuff matters to me.

That's why those Saturdays parties are the best. It's not just looking at a screen. Now, if by myself..I do other things while I'm watching the draft..like discussing it on here for example.

But your not alone so you won't get slammed.

I don't think the Rockettes had one thing to do with it. They are looking to completely take over sports and the only way to do it is to spread out the offseason. If they made more money doing it all on Sat/Sun they would do it. But they don't and won't ever again. The NFL is as greedy as the NBA and I hope it costs them. Literally every fan is against it and they could give a fuck. I always joked that they would change the shape of the ball if it helped the bottom line.

And Mitch, that kind of plays into the point of why I don't feel like the draft is as great as everyone makes it out to be. It's like the Super Bowl. People are getting together more for the sake of getting together rather than actually watching the event. Not that there's anything wrong with getting together with friends and knocking a few back, but it's one of those things that's more a social gathering than the event itself. It's how I feel about opening day in baseball too. It's a celebration, more than the pure game, because there's another 90000 in the season.

NOW the NFL fucking ruined the draft.

The online feed from NFL.com has Matt Millen commenting. If this keeps up, I'm turning it off.

And BTW... Millen thinks Manziel is the best QB in this draft because he's a "humble" kid.

So humble that he put his entire team at risk breaking NCAA rules and managed to get away with it...but you know... Millen likes the little fucker.

Oh hell I forget the phuckin thing was even on tonight till just now! Lol

just got back home, saw we drafted Ebron, don't feel like I missed anything. pretty sure I'm done watching the draft while it is in this extended day format. used to be I would keep the TV on until the next Lions pick...now, why bother?

for those who did/are watch(ing)...hope you are enjoying it still.

I am. It's always fun to see if you can predict the pick.

I don't very often.

The draft was interesting this year bevasue you really didn't know where anyone was going to go. At least I didn't.
