Nick Saban to the Lions

I know it may not be the popular theory, but I think Saban is finishing his career at Alabama, he's looked around, tried several colleges and the pros, now he knows where he fits best. He'll be at Bama for at least 5 more years, win 2-3 more NCs and then retire as the greatest coach in the modern era.

The only thing I could see is if he retires from Bama and then gets bored after a year or 2 and then wants to coach again.

He and his wife have made some comments lately that make it sound like he is getting tired of the college game / regrets about leaving the NFL. I think soon after the NC game we will find out if he is serious about it or just pulling a Les Miles and is just squeezing a bunch of money out of Bama.

Give it a couple years until they start finding all the recruiting violations...then he'll pull a Pete Carroll and bolt prior to the sanctions effecting his $

LOL, there he goes again laying the groundwork to bolt bama just like he's bolted everywhere else he's been?

Chargers will prolly fire Norv, maybe he can try the "Bolts" bhahahahahahahah

Dude is about to win his 4th NC, 3rd at Bama, he can do whatever he wants now and Bama can't complain.

fwiw, heard something on espn radio saying the browns want Saban, 10 years at $100 million?
anyone hear about that?
