I thought he was a lock to shore up our depth behind two guys who didn't combine for the snaps Suh played last year, James Jones less athletic cousin, a guy who looked out of his Depth against Texas A&M and the 2013 winner of Yales Got Talent? Is this seriously what we are rolling with? Dial *1 for Fluellen.

Mosley is not a good pass rusher. He's a good run defender. We are all set in run defense.

Wright and Reid in year 2. We have upgraded DT 3 and 4. Walker playing all 16 games is an upgrade at DT 2 over Fairley for 7 and half a game. Ngata is better in run defense than Suh. Partial DT 1 upgrade.

Mosley is a pothead. They shouldve just cut him after that bs he pulled in London. Good to see him go, honestly. I'm ready to see what Reid, the rook, and Walker can do, without an old vet taking their snaps away.

I didn't really expect him to be back, even after they said they were talking to him again.

Honestly, at his age, I think he was propped up a bit by playing next to Suh the last couple of seasons, so when I heard he was talking to the Phins, I expected him to sign there.

It's a smart move. Suh will prop him up a bit longer, and he'll get paid.

I think they would have cut him, but Fairley went down. Situational ethics.

The point was not that I like Mosely, just that he's was pitched to me as a good depth option. LKP don't make me hit the search button.

He's good depth as a run defender. Not as a pass rusher though.

Lions upgraded with Wright and Reid. And Walker for 16>Fairley for 7

I think he is still a good depth option. I think he's declining with age, but the guy was a quality starter when we brought him in, so being depth is the decline.

And I think he would have played well here another year or two.

I just think he knows he's better playing next to Suh, who he knows very well, and who can make anyone next to him look better than they are.

Two years in Miami with Suh, and the guy might get an extra two years out of his career from someone overpaying a veteran who was propped up a bit.

Smart move on his part, and an expected move in my opinion.

You're right. It was a smart move on his part, a business move more like it. He knows what he's getting with Suh. Our DLine is still up in the air with their expectations. This move adds a couple more years to his career.

I would have done the exact same thing in his shoes. He got no interest for the first few months of free agency, and then the Lions and Dolphins call in the same week.

I would have been on a plane to Miami before I could hang up the phone on Detroit.

If I'm an aging veteran trying to play a few more years, and I get a shot to play next to the man who's made me look good for the last five years, I jump at the chance.

Bills signed Fluellen. We are officially screwed.

It's okay...we've got our eyes on some other DTs to rotate in.

If he can walk all the way from the parking lot to Mayhew's office we will sign Barry Cofield to back up Ngata.

And we're within days of signing Red Bryant to eat all the junk food left behind in Fairley's locker.

2012 and 2013 Flu signed with another team and ended up back on the Lions during those seasons.

Outside of CJ and Stafford you would probably have gotten the best mileage out of a Fluellen jersey. Think about that one for a second.
