First off, Seattle is a WAY better team at home than on the road, so that needs to be mentioned when you talk about the GB and NE wins. Second, you might need to define what you mean by 'shredding' a defense. I saw lots of short little passes that kept the chains moving with good YAC by the WRs and RBs. Stafford did well with this, but we played from behind all game, and I didn't see anything near the domination you guys claim to have seen. Hell, we won on a TD with 0:20 left. That should tell you something about the game. I was in section 105, row 22, right at about the 43yd line behind the Lions bench, so I had a really good look at things. I thought Stafford played pretty well, but I didn't find him to be dominating the defense. He was taking what they were giving him, which was short passes to receivers and backs not named Megatron. He had some brilliant passes, and a couple stinkers, and when he had to read the defense or check down, I thought he struggled a bit.
As for the CJ "drop", Stafford threw it early in the route and threw it really hard. If CJ isn't catching it, there probably aren't many who are. Stafford talked about that on the radio and said as much too. Now, the pick was terrible. I'm not sure if he didn't see him or what, but he looked to be staring him down before he threw it right to him. That one was a head scratcher.
